One of the research teams at our department is involved in project Virtuelle Menschmodelle für die Prävention, Therapie und Rehabilitation von Schultererkrankungen (Virtual model for prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation of shoulder complex pathologies) under Programm zur grenzübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit Freistaat Bayern – Tschechische Republik (Programme for cross-border cooperation of Free State of Bavaria & Czech Republic). The project runs from October 1, 2016, until August 31, 2019.

Our researchers (Linda Havelková, Jan Špička & Jan Vychytil) participate in project called "Development of Vehicle Active Bonnet System Regarding Variability of Population and Implementing Biomechanical Model Human Body". The project contributes to safety and health protection in the field of car industry. The project started 1. 7. 2014 and will end 30. 9. 2017.
One of our researchers, Mgr. Lukáš Holata, Ph.D., gained prestigious MARIE SKŁODOWSKA-CURIE ACTIONS – Individual Fellowships project: People under Pressure: Settlement Abandonment and Human Responses to Environmental and Socio-Economic Stress during the Medieval and Post-Medieval Periods (abbreviation ABANDONMENT). The project will be realised at the University of Exeter (UK) from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2017.
In September 2014, we started the project Naturalness in Human Cognitive Enhancement (HCENAT). The project aims at building up a new international research partnership in the field of Human Cognitive Enhancement (HCE) and to provide clear and accessible HCE-related analysis, guidelines and directions for policymakers, stakeholders, HCE engineers and consumers. Its goal is to create a philosophically grounded, open and transparent framework for description, assessment and forecast of acceptability of HCE systems in public space and by society, as well as for HCE governance issues. The project will be finished in April 2017.
IDA are one of the associated partners of the 5-year international project METABODY that started in July 2013, is supported by European Commission and brings together 28 partners from 14 countries.
In May 2011, we started the project Interdisciplinary Partnership for Artificial Intelligence. The goal of the project is to support national and international cooperation of research teams interested in various aspects of artificial intelligence and man-machine coexistence and comunication. The project also seeks new ideas for AI applications in various fields of human life and activities. The project will be finished in April 2014.
